December 1, 2022, Almaty. Beeline Kazakhstan announced the results of the 5th competition of student digital projects “Live on the Bright Side”. Winners were announced at the Enactus Kazakhstan Business Collaboration Forum, held in Almaty on November 24-26.
48 projects were submitted for participation in the competition, 12 of which were accepted for defense. In order to improve the quality of projects, Beeline organizes a special business incubator with the involvement of company experts with the possibility of mentoring. The winner was the team of the NIS FMS in Taldykorgan; it received a grant of 1,000,000 tenge for the “See the future” project. This is an ecosystem consisting of a helmet and an integrated application that helps blind people navigate in space and simplifies their daily life. Today, more than 160,000 Kazakhstanis have vision problems. With the help of the “See the future” project, people even with complete loss of sight will be able to move freely in public places.
The team from Kyzylorda State University named after. Korkyt Ata, with the project “S'eber” is the translation and dubbing of audiovisual content into the Kazakh language.
The “Jas wallet” project from the team of the Kazakh-British Technical University was recognized as the “Best Commercial Project”. “Jas wallet” is designed to help cryptocurrency holders perform financial transactions, such as purchasing goods and services, converting money using the website and mobile application. Today the team works with private users, but in the near future it is ready to offer services to large financial organizations.
“Beeline Kazakhstan, as a market leader, actively supports talented youth and helps develop their original ideas. This is the fifth year we have been holding this competition and I would like to note that the level and quality of applications received is growing.
